SYRACUSE, NY – It’s just a few short weeks before we swing open the doors for the the 34th Annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo. We are excited to welcome back Ferris Mowers, VP Racing Fuels and FX Caprara Car Companies as our major supporters for the show.
March 12 & 13 are the dates, and the famed Center of Progress Building on the New York State Fairgrounds will once again be the site.
“We are so happy that our major supporters are back after our two-year hiatus due to COVID, we couldn’t do the show without their help,” noted promoter Jeremie Corcoran, “Everything is coming together so fast, and I think all the fans are in for something special. It will just be good to see so many friends again.”
Fans and vendors should note that New York State has relaxed the mask mandate for indoors as well. We like for everyone to be as safe as they can while visiting the show. The state will have hand sanitizers available all throughout the building.
Each year the Expo becomes the official kickoff for all forms of racing in not only upstate NY but for many in NY, Canada, and surrounding states. Dirt and Asphalt Modifieds, Sprint Cars, 358’s and Sportsman, Pro Stocks, Street Stocks, Go-Carts and so many more will be on display.
Many area racetracks and sanctions will be on hand to great all the race fans with schedules, race cars and information to get ready for a busy 2022 racing season. Always very popular with the fans are booths filled with racing apparel and novelty items. Safety items will be all throughout the floor as well.
”I’m just amazed at the support the racing community has shown for this show,” Corcoran mentioned, “We will work all hours to make sure they have a good time.”
Also, the annual Syracuse Indoor Race will be held at the Expo Center on March 11 & 12. Come to Syracuse to make a weekend of it.
