SYRACUSE, NY – After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID Pandemic, the 34th Annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo is ready to welcome fans, race teams, racetracks, sanctions and more on Saturday and Sunday, March 12 & 13. The Center of Progress Building on the New York State Fairgrounds will once again be the site.
“We were all set to go in 2019, I was at the Fairgrounds finishing up the layout and some vendors and race cars were already there when the state shut us down,” noted promoter Jeremie Corcoran, “It’s been a very long two years and so hard on many in the motorsports industry. Coming off a successful Northeast Racing Products Auction and Trade Show, we are now ready for the Syracuse Motorsports Expo.”
Each year the Expo becomes the official kickoff for all forms of racing in not only upstate NY but for many in NY, Canada, and surrounding states. Dirt and Asphalt Modifieds, Sprint Cars, 358’s and Sportsman, Pro Stocks, Street Stocks, Go-Carts and so many more will be on display.
Many area racetracks and sanctions will be on hand to great all the race fans with schedules, race cars and information to get ready for a busy 2022 racing season. Always very popular with the fans are booths filled with racing apparel and novelty items. Safety items will be all throughout the floor as well.
“Our partners have stuck with us, Ferris Industries, FX Caprara and VP Racing Fuels. We hope to announce more in the coming weeks,” Corcoran continued, “They are such a big part of the show and I thank them. And, to the race fans, the show has grown in the few years I have become promoter and I just can’t thank them enough.”
Show times are Saturday 10-8PM with Sunday 10-4PM
